Why Folded Brochures Are A Must At Conventions

If you run a business, then you might have looked into attending conventions and having a stand where you can chat with potential customers and showcase what your company does. In fact, this can be an excellent way to find new opportunities and to help yourself stand out in a crowd.

Of course, you can’t just turn up at a convention or conference without anything to help you market yourself, and there is a wide range of option, but one that can do some good for you is the folded brochure; read on to find out why this is a must at a convention.

Compact

When you go to a convention, you might be local to home, but you could have to travel quite a distance, especially if you’re in a niche sector. The last thing you’ll want to do is take a lot of things with you, especially if they’re bulky or heavy, and that’s why folded brochures are such a good idea – they’re compact (whether you fold them before or after you arrive, or they’re folded for you before you receive them), meaning they’re easy to pack and store and you can take as many with you as you need.

Even better is that they can still contain plenty of information – there’s lots of space to talk about who you are and what you do and even to include special offers if you want to in your custom printed brochures. These brochures are compact but comprehensive, giving you the best of both worlds.

A Tangible Option

Digital marketing is a great thing, and it’s an ideal way to attract as many new customers as possible. Still, there’s something to be said for handing someone a physical leaflet that they can browse at their leisure and keep on their desk to remind them to get in touch with you.

You can have a QR code to scan or a website to direct people to (and you probably should), but in a place where everyone is going to have the same kind of marketing and potential clients might get confused, a physical leaflet they can look at and hold onto could be precisely what gets you the sale over and above someone else.

Leave Them In Strategic Places

Conventions are a great way to connect with a target audience – the people who attend are going to be interested in what you do, either specifically or at least partially; otherwise, they wouldn’t be there – but you might not be able to catch everyone’s attention when there are lots of stands and only a set amount of time for people to look around.

However, when you have brochures, you can leave them in strategic places around the convention center, perhaps on lunch tables or near doors. In that way, you can spread the word about your business without people having to see your stand, and expand your reach by quite a lot if you pick the right places to leave your leaflets.
